Termez Orchards – is a new project (2021), developed based on the Spanish methodology. Before laying the garden on an area of 70 hectares in the Surkhandarya region, the following work was carried out:
— climate studied;
— water and soil analysis carried out;
— proper soil preparation;
— selection of special early
PSB varieties;
— seedlings prepared with specialists from PSB (Spain) and the company Vitro Plant
(Italy).
The Termez garden is located in the southernmost and warmest part of the country, only early-ripening varieties are grown there and the main focus is on large stone fruits (apricots, peaches, nectarines, cherries).
In 2024, it is planned to expand the garden to an additional area of 100 hectares worth $4 million, together with the breeding company PSB (Spain) and the seedling manufacturer ORERO (Spain).
